Professional entertainers will donate their time and talents for a special family-friendly variety show at the Black Swan Theatre in North Walsham on Saturday 26 September at 7.30pm.
A Show for Nepal will bring together comedy, music, magic and illusion for an uplifting evening of live entertainment, with all profits going directly to the Nepal Disaster Appeal fund to support people affected by the disaster.
The line-up includes colourful comedy magic and illusion duo The Trickstars; popular entertainer Paul Henri, accompanied by the mischievous George T Monkee; personality vocalist Sadie Louise; and the Black Swan’s own singer, actor and entertainer Joseph Ballard.
Every performer is appearing completely free of charge, helping to ensure that as much money as possible can be raised for the appeal.

“We have a wonderful line-up of professional entertainers who have all generously agreed to give their time and talents for free. It promises to be a fantastic evening, filled with laughter, music, magic and surprises, but at the heart of it is a very important cause. We hope people will come together, enjoy the show and help us raise as much money as possible for those affected in Nepal.”
Joseph Ballard, Chief Executive of New Stages and Director of the Black Swan Theatre, said the evening reflects the important part that local venues can play in helping communities look beyond their own immediate surroundings.
“As a community theatre, we believe it is important to recognise the causes that matter and remember people elsewhere in the world who are facing unimaginable hardship. Even when times are difficult closer to home, we can still come together as a community, show compassion and do something practical to support others in need.
“Entertainment has always had the power to bring people together, and this show gives us the opportunity to enjoy a brilliant evening while helping people who desperately need support. Every ticket sold and every donation made will contribute to the appeal, so we would love to see the theatre full.”
