‘Mark Lockyer has absolute commitment and mastery of this timeless classic’ Rufus Norris. Artistic Director, Royal National Theatre
With all the characters played by one actor, stunningly simple staging, and all the language we love, we understand the play better than ever before.
Hamlet the tortured prince, mystified by his mother’s behaviour, grieving the death of his father and feeling the weight of responsibility to his country, tries to make sense of the world.
At turns ingenious, funny, poignant – and always entertaining, this Hamlet will move you and remain in your memory for a long time.
Hamlet by William Shakespeare
Edited by Fiona Laird (RSC, National Theatre)
Presented by Regeneration Theatre
Performed by Mark Lockyer

There’s a map on our Contact page.
We have a small car park ourselves and Bank Loke car park is just next door – just one minute away! Parking is free after 6pm. We are a 10 minute walk from North Walsham train station and 200 yards away from the town centre, tucked in down Black Swan Loke.
We have an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities in the theatre.
For most shows we open the bar inside the theatre itself and you are welcome to buy a drink from the pub and bring it over too.
The pub and theatre are both us! That means your ticket purchase and any drinks or food you buy in the pub helps support our community projects.
