Mind reading and mentalism at Black Swan Theatre

Mind reading and mentalism have never been more popular, dominating television and media — but nothing compares to experiencing it live in the theatre. We’re excited to welcome back Chris North to the Black Swan Theatre where he will be bringing this fascinating art form directly to the stage in a thrilling, fast-paced performance.

A master of modern mentalism, Chris North blends astonishing mind-reading feats with sharp humour and effortless charm, guiding audiences on a journey from curiosity to the seemingly impossible. Every moment is designed to engage, surprise and entertain, making this an unmissable night out at North Walsham’s most exciting venue.

This high-energy live theatre experience is funny, intelligent and genuinely jaw-dropping; guaranteed to spark conversation long after the bar closes. Whether you’re a fan of theatre, live events or mind-bending entertainment, the Black Swan Theatre is the place to be.

The venue
The Black Swan Theatre is a separate building to the pub, located opposite the Black Swan pub.
Black Swan Theatre, Black Swan Loke, North Walsham, Norfolk. NR28 9BX
There’s a map on our Contact page.
We have a small car park ourselves and Bank Loke car park is just next door – just one minute away! Parking is free after 6pm. We are a 10 minute walk from North Walsham train station and 200 yards away from the town centre, tucked in down Black Swan Loke.
We have an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities in the theatre.
Sometimes we open the bar inside the theatre and you are always welcome to buy a drink from the pub and bring it over.
The pub and theatre are both us! That means your ticket purchase and any drinks or food you buy in the pub helps support our community projects.

The pub
The Black Swan Pub and Theatre is all run as a social enterprise. We’re very proud of our community pub where everyone feels welcome. The pub is a separate building itself, opposite the theatre just across the Loke.

As a charity
New Stages Theatre is a registered charity, working in partnership with New Stages Projects (which is a Community Interest Company). New Stages Theatre programmes and leads the Black Swan Theatre, while the Community Interest Company focuses on the pub.
