Wellbeing

From past projects our new focus is on wellbeing because that is what the local community has told us. Our board of Directors includes a GP and also a psychotherapist and our Community Advisory Board also includes representatives from different networks and community groups.

We embed a duty of care for all participants of our creative programmes from North Walsham People’s Choir, to Creative Wellbeing Workshops and our pop up North Walsham People’s Theatre. We also work with Zest Wellbeing and Counselling when one-to-one support or specialist support is needed.

Importantly, we have summarised our understanding on wellbeing as the need to be:

Individual
everyone has their own unique journey to self-awareness and understanding their own wellbeing.

Inclusive
everyone should have equal access to the support they need and opportunities for growth.

Integral
sustainable in terms of strategy and delivery partners, but also with the climate in mind.

Collective
a sense of wellbeing relies on the connection we have with others and the community around us.
