Following on from our success before lockdown, we’ve taken over The Rooms of the Black Swan again to turn it into an 80-100 seat theatre.

Parking is available in Bank Loke car park just next door. The car park has designated parking bays for people with disabilities and we also have allocated spaces for wheelchairs inside the theatre. Please mention this when booking, looking for the allocated spaces.

Jude and The Space Monkey, plus the workshop, have been kindly supported by The National Lottery Community Fund and HAZ North Walsham. This has ensured we can present this free show to North Walsham, connecting the community with arts and cultural activity.

You can find HAZ North Walsham on Facebook and their website.

Joseph Ballard, Director of New Stages said:
“We had a successful summer of free workshops and we asked everyone who took part ‘what makes a community?’  We had many different responses but the common threads were about kindness, connecting with each other, and connecting with their town.  I hope that by presenting this show in a central place, we can offer something fun for families to share together and make it easy to get to.

I’m proud that alongside National Lottery funding and a grant from Arts and Culture, part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone project, (HAZ) we have been able to provide it for free. This will enable lots of people to access it at a time when we’re all feeling the pinch in a cost-of-living crisis.”
